Terms of Service

Ayla is a browser extension developed by Ibrohim Qobilov (Uzbekistan). By installing or using it ("Ayla") you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Ayla replaces your browser's new tab page with wallpapers, a focus timer, tasks, widgets and related features. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.

2. Age and accounts

An account is optional. Accounts are for people aged 16 or older. People under 16 may create one only with a parent's or guardian's consent. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.

3. Ayla Plus

Some features are marked with ★ as part of Ayla Plus, the optional paid plan. During the launch period they are free for everyone, and nothing is charged.

If Ayla Plus becomes paid:

• Existing users will be told in advance.
• The price, billing period, how to cancel and the refund policy will be shown clearly before any purchase.
• Nothing will be charged without your explicit consent.
• Your rights as a consumer under the law of your country, including any right of withdrawal, are not affected.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Ayla to break the law, to harm others, or to try to access other users' data or interfere with the service.

Focus together. Share a room code only with people you trust: anyone with the code can join and see your display name and focus status. A person can't be removed from a room, so if someone unwanted joins, create a new room.

5. Content and third parties

Wallpapers come from Wikimedia Commons and remain under their authors' free licenses, which are shown with each photo.

Weather, currency rates, holidays, prayer times and other information come from third-party services. They may be inaccurate or unavailable, so please check important information, such as prayer times, with an official source.

When you connect Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Trello, Jira, Todoist, ClickUp, Notion, Asana, GitHub, Bitrix24, Microsoft To Do, Slack or Telegram, your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.

6. No warranty

Ayla is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data or other damages arising from the use of Ayla. Keep important information backed up (Settings → Account → My data).

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you live in another country, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of that country.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced in the extension. Continuing to use Ayla after changes means you accept them.
