How to delete your data

Applies to accounts created with email, Google, GitHub, Facebook or X

Delete your account and synced data

1. Open a new tab with Ayla.
2. Click the gear icon (bottom left) to open Settings, then choose Account.
3. Click Delete account and confirm with Yes, delete.

Your account is scheduled for deletion and kept for 30 days. If you change your mind, just sign in again during this period and everything is restored. After 30 days all data saved in your account (settings, tasks, notes, habits, statistics and lists) is permanently deleted.

Delete data on your device

Remove the extension from your browser (chrome://extensions → Ayla → Remove). This deletes everything Ayla stored on that device.

Remove Ayla's access to your social account

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Ayla → Remove.
• GitHub: Settings → Applications → Authorized OAuth Apps → Ayla → Revoke.
• X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → Ayla → Revoke.
• Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Ayla → Remove access.

Can't access your account?

Open an issue with the email address of your account and we will delete it within 30 days.
